# Law Student for a Day 2026

#### **What’s Happening?**

On Friday 23rd October, you’ll be part of an interactive courtroom drama where you, along with your peers, will decide the outcome of a gripping case. This Law Student for a Day experience provides you with the knowledge you require to participate in a mock trial that involves a tragic series of events that led to the death of Juniper Rose, a young woman who witnessed a jewellery store burglary. You’ll attend lectures on key areas of Criminal Law, see the evidence gathered, hear evidence, listen to witness testimonies, and engage in deliberations just like a real jury.

#### **Why Attend?**

- **Get Inside the Irish Criminal Justice System**: Understand how the courts work, what goes into making a fair judgment, and how important the role of a juror is in the justice system.
- **Develop Critical Thinking**: Weigh evidence, consider different perspectives, and make decisions that could change lives. This is your chance to test your analytical and reasoning skills in a real-world scenario.
- **Experience the Drama**: This isn't just a mock trial; it's an opportunity to be part of a courtroom experience.
