What does this qualification cover?
Learners will complete three mandatory units in Principles of Management and Leadership, Strategic Business Management and Planning and Strategic Decision-making. Learners will then choose from a range of specialist optional units that align to the duties of their role or aspiring role such as Principles of Innovation and Change Management, Principles of Customer Service Management, Staff Recruitment and Selection, Principles of Business Finance, Human Resource Management, Understanding Organisational Structure, Culture, and Values, and Strategic Project Management.
Who could take this qualification?
This qualification is for all learners aged 18+ and 19+ who are capable of reaching the required standards. Learners do not need any prior qualifications, knowledge or experience before starting the qualification however they are likely to be employed in an operational, technician, associate professional or operational/departmental management role; already have core occupational competence and knowledge within the sector, but are aspiring to progress to middle management level.
